Portfolio of Services

 COVID-19: Per the HUMAN RELATIONS INITIATIVE Emergency Preparedness Guidelines - The health, safety, and welfare of our staff, volunteers, and communities are a top priority. Therefore, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the HUMAN RELATIONS INITIATIVE office remains physically closed until further notice. All operations continue accordingly from remote locations and all services remain available as performed via a virtual platform in a remote fashion. 


 Advocacy Work 

  • Collaborations with both Elected and/or Appointed Individuals and staff to be called upon and/or utilized to act as a resource in Hearings, Meetings, Sessions, Working Groups, etc.

 Awareness  & Education Engagements:    

  • Moderator and/or Speaker availability at Associations, Conferences, Panels, Seminars, Workshops, etc.

 Community Outreach  

  • Facilitation and/or Participation in Alliances, Boards, Commissions, Committees, Councils, Festivals, Groups, etc.

 Dialogue Initiatives  

  • Facilitation and/or Participation of sessions of intermediary work with individuals and groups focused on understanding, respect, and resolution.

 Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Training  

  • A society centered program that provides adults an opportunity to focus on the following:
    • Appreciating culture and gaining effective cross cultural communication skills
    • Conflict Identification, Management, and Resolution
    • Values Clarification
      • Understanding Individual and Collective
      • Understanding Accountability to Self and Responsibility to Society

 Educational Outreach 

  • A society centered program that provides primary and secondary education groups applicable tools resulting in overall student development with the following goals:
    • Students learn how to become Allies
    • Educators learn how to become Advocates

  Social Justice Initiatives 

  • Awareness of initiatives with a willingness to collaborate with organizations to ensure accurate education is presented to all in an open, accessible, and equitable manner.
